How To MakeHomemadeCinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
I promise HomemadeCinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips are super easy to make! You can use either homemade or store-bought tortillas to save time. Here’s what you’ll need:
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the flour tortillas into 12 wedges each.
Add the tortilla wedges to a bowl and pour the melted butter atop, tossing them together until all coated.
In a bowl, add the sugar and cinnamon, stirring them together to make the cinnamon sugar.
In a zip lock bag, add the coated tortilla wedges followed by the cinnamon sugar, shaking vigorously to coat them completely! NOTE: You may need to separate any tortillas stuck together and re-shake to evenly coat everything.
Evenly spread the coated tortilla wedges onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. NOTE: Chips will crisp up nicely as they cool, so don't worry if some are still soft.

TO MAKE THE SAUTEED APPLES:
In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter and heat until melted. Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt and stir until combined and everything begins to bubble a bit, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the diced apples and toss until well coated and cook for 5-6 minutes, until tender and the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat.
ASSEMBLE EVERYTHING:
Arrange the cooled cinnamon sugar tortilla chips onto your favorite dish and top with spoonfuls of sautéed apples followed by your favorite topping: caramel sauce, whipped cream, or scoops of ice cream.
Bon Appetit!
