This Apple Citrus Strawberry Juice is a refreshing and nutrient-dense homemade juice recipe featuring fresh fruit to enjoy all summer long.
I'm always looking for new ways to eat (or drink) more fruit. And juicing is one of my favorite solutions. You can pack all of your favorite flavors into a single refreshing glass that's hydrating and full of essential nutrients.
This recipe for Apple Citrus Strawberry Juice fits that bill, thanks to whole fresh fruit, ground turmeric, and black pepper. A bit of agave syrup adds sweetness without any refined sweeteners. The result is a thirst-quenching, satisfying, and nutrient-full juice you can sip on all year long. But for a greener juice, this Cleansing Sugar Detox Juice and Homemade Blood Orange Juice is the best and one of my go-to's daily!
How to Make Apple Citrus Strawberry Juice
You don't need any special ingredients to make this healthy vegan juice. In fact, you don't even need a juicer! This fruit juice is made entirely in a blender.
Ingredients
Here's what you need to add to your high-speed blender to whip up this juice:
Granny Smith Apple. Leave the skin on for extra fiber and nutrients (it's the healthiest part of the fruit!). If you don't like tart Granny Smith apples, you can use a sweeter red apple if you like.
Orange juice. Squeeze fresh orange juice for this recipe, not the store-bought stuff.
Grapefruit. This adds a bit of tartness to the juice that's just delicious.
Strawberries. Choose fresh, organic strawberries for the most nutrition.
Turmeric. This is a powerfully anti-inflammatory spice. It adds color and health benefits, but you won't taste it much in the juice itself.
Black pepper. This ingredient might surprise you, but it's actually necessary to help your body absorb the benefits of turmeric. Studies show that a compound in black pepper (piperine) enables your body to absorb much more of the anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric.
Agave syrup. This is a non-refined vegan-friendly liquid sweetener. You can also sweeten your fruit juice with maple syrup, vegan honey, or organic brown sugar.
Do I Need a Juicer to Make Citrus Strawberry Juice?
No! There's no need to go out and buy a fancy juicing machine to make this refreshing juice. A high-speed blender does the trick.
In fact, blending your whole fresh fruit helps retain more of the nutritional benefits of the fruit. With a juicer, you end up removing most of the fiber in the fruit. But with a blender, you still get to consume all of that gut-healthy fiber for maximum nutrition. Plus, the drink is thicker and more satisfying.
Why drink more turmeric? This bright orange spice is high in a compound called curcumin. Curcumin helps your body reduce inflammation. Chronic inflammation is a factor in many fatal diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer's.

Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
Adjust the amount of sweetener, depending on desired sweetness, adding 1 tablespoon more at a time, if needed.
STRAIN (IF NEEDED):
Be sure to strain the juice to remove all pulp, if needed. Grab a strainer and pour juice through, pressing in the pulp to release more liquids when needed. Repeat until all juice has been strained.
To serve—grab a glass and pour juice into each and grab a straw. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator, tightly sealed or in a covered mason jar, ensuring that you drink it within 2-3 days, for best taste and consistency.
Sip and enjoy!
