What Are Dessert Nachos?

Dessert nachos are a fun twist on the classic savory nachos! Instead of tortilla chips piled high with cheese + toppings, you’ve got crispy cinnamon-sugar tortilla chips drizzled with sweet toppings. Think of them as a dessert platter featuring sautéed fruits like apples or berries, creamy sauces like caramel or chocolate, and ice cream or whipped cream for that extra indulgence.

How To Make Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

I promise Homemade Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips are super easy to make! You can use either homemade or store-bought tortillas to save time. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the flour tortillas into 12 wedges each.
  • Add the tortilla wedges to a bowl and pour the melted butter atop, tossing them together until all coated.
  • In a bowl, add the sugar and cinnamon, stirring them together to make the cinnamon sugar.
  • In a zip lock bag, add the coated tortilla wedges followed by the cinnamon sugar, shaking vigorously to coat them completely! NOTE: You may need to separate any tortillas stuck together and re-shake to evenly coat everything.
