Ingredients For Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

The great thing about this Italian dressing recipe is that it uses very simple ingredients that you probably already have at home!

DRESSING:

  • Extra virgin olive oil. Feel free to use your favorite high-quality EVOO. My fave tried and trusted brand is California Olive Ranch.
  • Garlic cloves. Freshly minced for the best flavor!
  • Lemon. Freshly-squeezed.
  • Dijon mustard. Adds a slight tang and a creamy texture that helps bring all the ingredients together.
  • Warm water. Just a touch of warm water helps thin out the dressing to the perfect consistency for drizzling.
  • Sea salt. Enhances all the flavors
  • Black pepper. Adds a little heat and spice, rounding out the dressing’s flavor.
  • Dried oregano. Adds a touch of earthiness.
Ingredients being mixed together in a bowl with a spoon.

How To Make Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

All you need to do is add the extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Dijon mustard, warm water, sea salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to a bowl. Then, just whisk it all together until it magically transforms into a smooth, creamy, flavor-packed dressing. It’s that easy—and trust me, once you taste it, you’ll be drizzling it on everything!

How To Use Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

This dressing is super versatile and can be used in so many fun ways! Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Drizzle it over fresh salads like a classic green or tomato salad.
  • Toss it with pasta salad for a zesty kick.
  • You can use it as a marinade for chicken, pork, or beef, or even tofu + tempeh for a tasty vegan twist! Just use about ½ cup of the dressing for every pound of protein to soak up all that delicious flavor.
  • Brush it over veggies before roasting or grilling.
  • Dip fresh bread or veggies in it as a snack.
  • Mix it into grain bowls for extra flavor.
  • Add it to sandwiches or wraps for a tangy touch.
