When it comes to drinks and having something refreshing, I am a HUGE fan of Iced Teas! It’s almost like my obsession. I’m Southern, so what do you expect? Haha! Well, if many of you haven’t already done so, I would highly recommend trying Pure Leaf’s Iced Tea bags. Usually, I would rack up on their bottled drinks, but this was my first time trying their tea bags and it’s REALLY good! I figured that their tea bags wouldn’t have the same potent taste that you often enjoy when drinking it from a ready-made bottle. But to my surprise, it really tastes just like the bottled drink! Besides, this is a very cost efficient way to enjoy multiple drink servings, while being able to mix and match flavors when you feel like it.
This one specifically, was the peach flavor. Keep in mind that they do have many other flavors available. To purchase it, you can simply go to Amazon Fresh (Here!) and take a look at the many choices available. Please be aware that you may find a lot more variety on their official site. By the way, did you hear that Amazon has bought out Whole Foods for $13.7 billion? How crazy right? This is definitely exciting for me since I use Amazon Fresh often, so hopefully this means a larger selection of fresh fruits, veggies, and organic foods. Plus, they now have leverage of over 400 physical stores that Whole Foods currently possess, so it may lead to us being able to shop at Amazon physically. HOORAY! Anyway, to make this Iced Tea is super easy and I must warn you that YOU SHOULD ADD SUGAR! This is not at all mentioned in the container’s instructions, but I learned this important fact by failing to do so the first time and quickly having to add some sugar after. It’s HORRID without sugar or at least to me anyway.
Granted, I’m not sure if this was because I didn’t make it by the Glass as instructed, rather in a big pitcher, but either way, I say add a bit of sugar after you’ve tasted it first. Also, if you’re like me and you can’t fathom the idea of making a glass at a time, then here’s where you can use your math skills and multiply the amount of water needed (in ounces) and the amount of teabags needed! It wasn’t detrimental like calculus so no worries! haha!
Once made & chilled for at least an hour or two, simply just throw in a nice ice cube in your glass and drink away! Just as a side note: because I love my drinks super cold, I bought these Martha Stewart Ice Trays from Macy’s and they are HEAVEN SENT! Super huge ice cubes that definitely do the trick.
