Grapefruit Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink

Make a refreshing and healthy Grapefruit Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink with rosemary, honey and freshly squeezed citrus juice for a detoxifying tonic that tastes great.

I love drinks that state, look and make you feel great. And this refreshing grapefruit apple cider drink with fresh rosemary and apple cider vinegar is a total winner. This is the perfect drink to sip on when you need a reset. It's light and helps with digestion for a detox, much like my Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Lemonade.

It's easy to make, includes a few simple ingredients, and is tasty enough to sip all day long. This summer, you're going to want to keep a big pitcher of this healthy detox drink in the fridge at all times.

How to Make Grapefruit Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drinks

The first step to making this detoxifying drink is to make your freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. You'll need about 3 or 4 large, juicy and heavy grapefruits to produce enough juice for this drink.

I like to make my citrus juice in a mortar and pestle. You can also use a handheld citrus juicer or a mechanical juicer if you have one.

Once you have plenty of jewel-colored citrus juice, you can mix everything in a pitcher and it's ready to serve over ice!

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

The vinegar in this detox drink adds tart, sharp flavor to tamer the sweetness from honey. But it also has some important health benefits. If you use raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (it should be cloudy), your vinegar will have plenty of probiotics. Probiotics help feed the good bacteria in your gut microbiome. As a result, your digestion will improve, you'll reduce bloating and improve your overall gut health.

Some people take shots of apple cider vinegar to get a gut health boost. But I prefer to sip my ACV in a drink that tastes as good as it looks.

Serving Suggestions

I like to keep this drink chilled in the fridge. To serve, pour glasses over ice and enjoy.

And for a nice garnish, I like to decorate each glass with a juicy wedge of grapefruit and a sprig of rosemary.

Storage

You can store a pitcher of your grapefruit apple cider vinegar detox drink in the fridge for up to a week.
