How Much Ranch Seasoning Mix Should I Use?

The amount of seasoning mix you use can vary based on what you’re making.

  • For ranch dressing, you'll want about 2 tablespoons of the mix per cup of mayonnaise and ½ cup of buttermilk or milk.
  • When seasoning roasted vegetables, a couple of teaspoons should do the trick—just adjust based on your taste and how much you're cooking.
  • For a meat rub, aim for 1-2 tablespoons per pound of meat, and make sure to rub it in well.
  • If you're using it for popcorn or snacks, a small amount, around 1-2 teaspoons, will add a nice burst of flavor.

I recommend always starting with a little, taste, and adjusting as needed to suit your preferences!

Can I Use Ranch Seasoning As A Marinade?

Yes absolutely! Creating a ranch seasoning marinade is super easy and adds a ton of flavor to your dishes.

HOW TO USE AS A MARINADE

  • Grab a few tablespoons of ranch seasoning and mix it with ¼ cup of olive oil, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar. (The exact amount will depend on what + how much you are planning on marinating)
  • Now, coat your meat, seafood, or tofu/veggies in this delightful concoction and let them hang out in the fridge. For meats, aim for at least 30 minutes, while seafood and veggies are good to go in 15-30 minutes. You can go longer if you want that Italian flavor to really sink in.
  • Then, fire up the grill, pop them in the oven, or cook them however you like. That ranch will do it's magic, and you'll have a mouthwatering meal with a personal touch. Enjoy!
