You can now have your cookies and drink them, too! This Sugar Cookie Mocktail recipe is a creamy, sweet, and unique drink that highlights the delights of a freshly baked sugar cookie. Time to kick off the holiday fun! Today, I'm sharing one of my all-time favorite recipes, a crowd-pleaser adored by kids, grown-ups, and everyone in between. Say hello to my Sugar Cookie Mocktail—a festive, cookie-flavored delight made with almond milk, agave, vanilla, sweetened condensed milk, and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar magic. It's the perfect drink for Santa to savor alongside his cookies! If you've got a bunch of little ones around this year, this mocktail is an absolute must-make for them!
The idea for this recipe struck me right after baking those Soft Oversized Crinkled Sprinkle Sugar Cookies—I just had to create a drinkable version of that cookie joy! Haha. You can even rim the glass with some crumbled cookies for an extra treat. I'm fully embracing the festive spirit, and if you love this, you'll dig my other holiday favorites like the Gingerbread Eggnog Mocktail, Grapefruit Thyme Mocktail, Holiday Pomegranate Ginger Mocktail, and the oh-so-indulgent Chocolate Peppermint Mocktail. Cheers to festive sips all around!
What I love about this sugar cookie recipe is that it's a hit with the kids (and the grown-ups adore it too!) Plus, it's ready in just 5 minutes—super quick! It's totally alcohol-free, but if you fancy, a splash can be a nice addition. This drink is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser throughout the holiday season!
So if you're sitting here thinking, what is a mocktail? Let me explain. A mocktail is like a party in a glass, minus the hangover. It's a delicious and refreshing drink that's packed with all the flavor and complexity of a traditional cocktail but without any of the alcohol.
Whether you're a designated driver, a health-conscious human, or just someone who wants to enjoy a delicious drink without the buzz, mocktails are the perfect solution.
Mocktails can be healthy, depending on the ingredients used-- Fresh juices, herbal teas, and natural sweeteners like honey can provide vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. However, mocktails made with high-calorie syrups, sodas, and artificial flavors can be less healthy. Y'all know my mocktail menu for Orchirds & Sweet Tea I like to keep it natural and healthy. You'll enjoy the natural sweetener option even in this Sugar cookie mocktail recipe.
While you may have seen this in stores, cinnamon sugar cookie spice blend is easy to find, but also easy to make. Your Sugar Cookie Mocktails will taste amazing, whichever you use.
If you do plan on making your own spice blend, you will need:
If you have any other flavors that you like to add to your cookies, feel free to throw them in! For example, if you have a large jar of vanilla sugar, be sure to use that. If you like cloves or allspice in your cookies, add a bit of that.
This sugar cookie drink is totally customizable. For the adults, you can also add some Baileys or spiced rum to these mocktails to turn them into cocktails!

Absolutely! If you’d like to switch things up with the type of plant-based milk that you use—–that’s totally fine! The world of plant-based milk is constantly expanding. From the classics like coconut milk, cashew milk, soy milk and almond milk, we now have delicious options like oat milk, and even potato and quinoa milk.
In a bowl, whisk together all the mocktail ingredients until combined and smooth.
To decorate the rim of glass(es): Grab your favorite 'mocktail/cocktail' glass (8 oz. or so), add festive sprinkles to the rim of the glass by slightly wetting the rim with water (or lemon juice) and then pressing slightly into the sprinkles which are laid out of a plate, swirling it a bit to ensure that they stick. Stand glass upward and let them dry for 1-2 minutes.
To serve: Add crushed ice (filling the glass halfway), followed by drink mixture (filling it close to the top), and topping with whipped cream and a freshly baked sugar cookie, if desired.
Sip and Enjoy!
Yes of course! This recipe makes 2 servings, however, to make additional mocktails, simply double or triple ingredients, depending on what you need.
Making these mocktails look extra fancy is where the fun truly begins. Here are a few of my favorite ways to get creative with toppings:
Yes! Use coconut condensed milk, opt for vegan whipped cream, and ensure your sprinkles are vegan-friendly for a delicious vegan version.
Absolutely! You can swap in alternatives like stevia, monk fruit sweetener, agave nectar, or maple syrup to suit your preferences.
Certainly! Mix the ingredients (excluding the ice) ahead of time and refrigerate. When ready to serve, add ice and garnishes for a fresh taste.
Yes, easily! Add a splash of your favorite spirit like vodka, kahlua or amaretto for an adult-friendly version.
