This recipe for the Ultimate Holiday Mocktail is perfectly sweet and spiced, thanks to fresh orange, cinnamon, and rosemary. The perfect festive drink for your Christmas or New Year's party.
I always like to serve a homemade mocktail when I'm entertaining. Even if I go to a holiday party at someone else's house, I often bring my own. It's a great way to ensure that I feel included in the festivities without having to drink alcohol. And usually, others want to try what I'm sipping on!
If you're looking to experiment with non-alcoholic drinks this holiday season, this is the only mocktail recipe you'll need. Of course, if you feel like branching out, you'll also love my Gingerbread Eggnog Mocktail and Roasted Apple Pear Mocktail.
Ingredients for the Ultimate Holiday Mocktails
Here's what you need to make this beautiful drink:
Blood orange juice. Use freshly squeezed orange juice for the best flavor and beautiful color. If you can't find blood orange, another orange variety will work.
Orange juice. I love Cara Cara oranges!
Grapefruit. This adds a nice tart and astringing flavor to the drink.
Lemon. Again, freshly squeezed is best!
Agave. This is a vegan liquid sweetener that blends easily into your mocktail.
Cinnamon for a hint of spice.
Fizzy drink. Feel free to use your favorite! I like ginger beer or seltzer water.
Health Benefits of Citrus Juice
You'll notice that this mocktail recipe features four different kinds of citrus juice. And there's a reason for that! Not only does the combination taste great, but it's also good for you.
Citrus juices are full of vitamin C, which is essential for a healthy immune system. Especially this time of year, it's important to get plenty of vitamin C to stay healthy and ward off colds. So drink up!
Garnishes
I love filling my mocktail glasses with plenty of fresh fruit and herbs. It adds so much to the experience and tastes great too!
Try garnishing these citrus mocktails with:
Whole cranberries
Sliced strawberries
Pomegranate seeds
Citrus segments (try more orange, blood orange, and grapefruit)
Fresh rosemary. Thyme would also work well
Big-Batch Holiday Mocktails
If you're serving a crowd, it's easy to scale this recipe up! As written, it makes enough to serve four. But you can increase the citrus, sweetener and fizzy topper and store the drink in a pitcher to serve for a party.
I recommend adding the fizzy topper to each glass just before serving so it doesn't go flat.
In a pitcher, put together the blood orange juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, Agave, and cinnamon, stirring everything together until combined.
Assemble the mocktails: For each drink, fill an 8-ounce glass halfway with crushed ice. Add ½ cup of the mocktail mixture and garnish with sliced fruit and a rosemary sprig. Top with ginger beer or some kind of frizzy drink until the glass is filled.
Sip and Enjoy!

SWEETENER: Instead of Agave, you can substitute with pure maple syrup.
