Best Ways To Enjoy Chocolate Almond Milk

While enjoying it fresh after blending is the obvious choice, I personally prefer mine chilled. Sometimes I add a few ice cubes afterward, but if the milk was already in the fridge, it's cold enough as is. However, sipping it straight isn't the only option.

Here are some fun ways to use it:

  • Add this plant-based milk to all your favorite drinks like coffee + smoothies.
  • Pour on top of your favorite breakfast goodies like cereal or granola
  • Sub our regular milk for chocolate milk in pancake or waffle batter!
  • Try adding it to puddings or cake batters for a chocolate twist.
  • Unsurprisingly this milk is perfect in all types of oatmeal try it in overnight oats!

Homemade vs. Store-bought Chocolate Milk

This simple ingredient vegan chocolate milk recipe is definitely a staple in my fridge (My kid + husband LOVE it)

I have to admit I was a little late to the homemade milk train, opting for my favorite go-to brands like Califia Farms and So Delicious instead. They're amazing, so why make my own, right? Haha. Whelp. I've since given in to the trend, and I must say that I'm glad I did. There are a lot of great reasons to opt for homemade chocolate milk.

BENEFITS OF MAKING YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE MILK

  • You can make smaller batches to avoid waste
  • It is fresh and free from preservatives.
  • It is a fun DIY project!
  • You can avoid added sugars, oils, thickeners, and salts!

Can I Warm Up Chocolate Oat Milk?

Absolutely! You can heat it up just like regular milk. It's perfect for making warm and comforting beverages like hot chocolate or adding a delightful touch to your morning coffee. Just be sure to heat it gently over medium heat and stir occasionally to prevent scorching
