Ingredients

CHEX MIX:

  • 3 cups corn Chex cereal
  • 3 cups wheat Chex cereal
  • 3 cups rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups mini salted pretzels
  • 1 cup mini pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (This can be purchased in a bag or you can mix/match your faves like cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts, hazelnuts, etc)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2-3 Tbsps Everything Bagel Seasoning (Depending on how much flavor desired)
  • 2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

PREP THE SAUCE MIXTURE:

  • In a bowl or measuring cup, add the melted butter, Worcestershire, and Everything Bagel Seasoning, stirring everything together until combined. Set aside.

TO MAKE THE CHEX MIX:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. NOTE: You can prepare 2 baking sheets for a single-layer spread of the Chex mix, if preferred for easier baking.
  • In a bowl, add the Chex cereals, pretzels, and mixed nuts, stirring everything together using a rubber spatula or your hands, avoiding breaking the Chex cereal too much. Pour the sauce mixture atop everything, stirring and working your way through all ingredients to ensure that everything is well coated.

BAKE THE CHEX MIX:

  • Pour the coated cereal mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading everything out evenly. Bake for about 40-45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to avoid burning. Be sure to keep an eye on it within the last 15 minutes so that they don't burn. Remove once golden brown and crisp.
  • Let cool slightly and serve.

Notes

STORAGE: Leftovers can stay fresh up to 2 months if stored in an airtight container or ziplock bag at room temperature. For longer storage, you can freeze it for up to 4 months and defrost at room temperature.
